TRANSPARENCY

How the Considered Installer Finder works

The directory is designed to make installer status, referral attribution and commercial relationships clear rather than hiding them behind rankings.

Verification

Installer-supplied claims and Considered verification are separate. A manufacturer registration or professional credential is shown as verified only after it has been checked and recorded. Verification can be marked review-due, expired or invalid and is rechecked periodically.

How installers are matched

Results use the services and manufacturers selected, the installer’s declared service area or travel radius, availability and geographic distance. Paying a referral fee does not buy a better verification label or ranking.

Referral commission

Some installers may pay Considered a percentage or fixed referral fee if an introduction becomes a qualifying installation. The commercial terms are captured against the referral when it is created. Considered records installer and customer updates independently and retains an audit history of changes.

Customer ratings

Ratings collected through a customer’s unique referral link cover areas a homeowner can reasonably judge: communication, professionalism and punctuality, visible workmanship and neatness, care of the property, handover/explanation and overall satisfaction. Ratings are tied to a real Considered referral; they are not a substitute for technical or regulatory inspection.

Privacy

A postcode search does not require Considered to retain the postcode. When you request an introduction, the details needed to make and track that introduction are stored and shared with the selected installer. They are not sent to unrelated installers by that action. Considered maintains operational retention and anonymisation controls for referral records.
